‘At the Gates’ has now been out for a few weeks, and we’re delighted with the interest it’s garnering. Thank you to our disabled Christian community for all the support! Here are more details of the online book launch, and some interviews with Emily and me…

Annual Disability and Church Conference, 15th Oct 2022: ‘Wholly, Holey, Holy’
In a world which conflates value with productivity and worth with wealth, disabled people explore the gifts of being, exactly as we are.
Registration is now open for this year’s ‘Living Edge’ disability conference. For over a decade, this disabled-led conference has brought together disabled Christians and our allies to resource each other and the church. This year’s theme is ‘Wholly, Holey, Holy.’ We’ll be meeting on Zoom, with BSL and captions – pay what you can. Follow #WHHoly or @livingedgeconf on Twitter to find out more.
The annual conference on disability and church is a partnership between Inclusive Church and St Martin-in-the-Fields Church.
Book Review: Amy Kenny
I’ve just reviewed Amy Kenny’s book ‘My Body is Not a Prayer Request’ for the Inclusive Church blog. Read my review of this powerful, disability-affirming book here. Spoiler: I loved it.
Amy Kenny was interviewed by Lamar Hardwick on his (excellent) podcast recently. Check out their conversation here.
